  On Friday April 27,2012 The Milton Fire Dept.held its annual Ladies Night/Awards Banquet.On this evening Sen. Gary Simpson, Sen.Joe Booth, Rep. Harvey Kenton and the Honorable George Carey and the Fire Dept.Postumously recognized Dr. James C. White for 70 yrs. of service.During this time Dr. White served as asst. treasure and vice president. Dr. Whites family was on hand to recieve this recognition.Dr. White Passed away on April 2,2012.

 The Annual Banquet is held each year to recognize the hard work the ladies and members do during the year. One of the Ladies awards that was considered to be a milestone was Camille Betts for 20years of service,Camille did not join the Ladies Aux. till she retired at the age of 65.

 Sam Argo Chief Engineer received fire fighter of the year,Sam has been an active member for 43 years and considered to be a mentor to a lot of members young and old offering words of wisdom.

  William Wright Sr. received an award for distinguished service: During Bills 58 years of service Bill has served as Secretary, Vice President, Amb. Captain and 45 years as Asst. Chief and Deputy Chief.Bill currently serves as Safety Officer along with Dennis Hughes.
