This call was the second of five fire alarms the Milton Volunteers responded to on October 18... At 11:05 hours Susssex dispatched Station 85 for a motor vehicle accident at above location. Units arrived on scene at 11:11 hrs to find two vehicles involved. One patient was transported by B-85 to Beebe.. Ambulance B-91 obtained a patient refusal from the other patient.. All units cleared at 11:32 hrs... Units Responding: 85 Command, Engine 85-4, Rescue 85, 85-11, B-85, B-91, DSP, and DSFP... The first alarm was for an automatic fire alarm at The Rookery a golf course clubhouse at 10:48 hours. Command arrived on scene at 10:55 hrs and reported nothing evident and quickly located the owner who stated everything was o.k. All units returned at 10:57 hours. While enroute back to the station we were dispatched to this vehicle accident. The 3rd call came in at 12:16 hours for a cardiac arrest in the devolopment of Lazy Lake off of Hudson Road... Milton units arrived on scene at 12:23 hrs. The paramedics arrived on scene and requested the Delaware State Police helicopter Trooper 2 for transport to Christiana. The patient had life signs but fell off a ladder and had head trauma. Rescue 85 crew assisted in the landing zone and the lifting of the patient. 85 units cleared the scene at 12:57 hrs. The 4th call came in at 14:42 hours to assist ambulance A-85 in lifting a patient. Rescue 85 cleared the scene at 14:56.. The 5th and final call was to assist Lewes Fire Dept. on a house fire in Savannah Place at 16:36 hours. Engine 85-3 responded at 16:41 hrs and at 16:43 hrs was told to reduce the assignment to stand-by at Lewes Sta. 2... At 16:45 hrs 82 command reduced the assignment to One of his engines and the stand-by units would not be needed... Engine 3 returned and the Fire units were able to rest for the night...
