At 2114 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 for an AFA in the Cannery Village development in Milton. First responding unit, 85 Command, with Deputy Chief Hopkins, was advised it was possibly a CO detector activation. Command arrived and confirmed nothing evident with a resident advising a CO detector activated. Engine-Tanker 85-2 arrived shortly after and sent their crew in to investigate. Crews from Milton checked the entire home, finding a bad CO meter. 85 units cleared a short time later.
