Just prior to the 12 o'clock hour, Sussex EOC alerted Sta. 85 for a vehicle fire on Anderson Corner Rd. just off of Harbeson Rd. Engine 82-1 responded as part of the Staffed Engine MOU. 85-8 arrived to find a minivan well involved with all occupants out. Engine 85-5 and 82-1 arrived and placed a handline inservice for extinguishment. A-85 evaluated the driver and obtained a refusal. Crews were on scene a short time before turning the scene over to the Delaware State Police. Deputy Chief Millman commanded the incident.
