Just after 8 o'clock, Sussex EOC alerted Station 85 for a structure fire on Rudder Rd, in the Shipbuilders Village development. Engine-Tanker 85-2, under the direction of Captain Windsor, arrived a short time after dispatch to find a multi family structure with an appliance fire. The crew from the Engine-Tanker quickly knocked the fire with a water can. Ladder 85 arrived next and set up while the crew checked for extension. Asst. Chief Dotterer arrived a short time later and assumed Command, holding the response to the units on scene. Units cleared the building and cleared a short time later.
